Before/After Care
Before care is available beginning as early as 8:15AM. After care is available from 3:30PM to 5:30PM each day at an additional cost and based on staff availability.
The before or after care is led by Phoenix staff members who provide interactions through games/ activities or guide students as they engage in self-chosen activities.
Please contact our executive assistant and principal if you wish to enroll your learner in before/aftercare services.

SMT Learning (Dyslexia)
Phoenix Private Academy now offers Simultaneous Multisensory Teaching (SMT) programming designed for students with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. This program provides reading, spelling and writing instruction to students of all ages. SMT also helps students with reading comprehension.
Through SMT Programming, reading success quickly leads to heightened self - confidence and overall improved academic progress. The SMT program is available at an additional cost ( not included in tuition). Please contact the Principal if you need further information regarding the SMT program.
Tutoring Sessions
Tutoring services are available at Phoenix Private Academy before or after school, based on staff availability. Morning sessions are available from 8:15am - 8:45am and after school sessions from 3:35pm - 4:35pm.
Tutoring services are offered to Phoenix students who need additional one to one support for Direct Instruction.

IBI Therapy
We are pleased to offer 1:1 IBI sessions to enhance our learners educational experience at Phoenix Private Academy. IBI therapy is a structured, intensive form of ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) focused on teaching new skills and improving overall day to day function.
We specialize in teaching students with various learning needs and encourage them to keep moving forward to reach their academic, social and development goals. IBI sessions provide our learners with additional support for positive classroom participation.
IBI services are available at an additional cost and are run for a duration of 12 months through the summer with the exception of our scheduled closures.
Educational Assistant Support
Educational assistant support plays a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience for students. By providing tailored assistance, educational assistants help foster an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Whether through one-on-one support, shared learning opportunities, or targeted iinterventions, these dedicated professionals address individual needs and promote academic success. With a focus on collaboration and empowerment, educational assistants are committed to helping students overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential.

At Phoenix Private Academy, we provide flexible educational assistant support, for an additional fee, tailored our students' needs. Options include one-on-one support, shared assistance for two students, and partial support for three students. Our educational assistants are assigned based on clinical recommendations for various purposes such as transition support, assistance during group learning, and support for students with a Behavior Support Plan (BSP), including safety requirements for elopement.

At Phoenix Private Academy, we understand that reliable transportation is a priority for our families. While the school does not provide or arrange transportation services, we are happy to support our community in finding the best solutions.
