Lest We Forget

Every year on Remembrance Day, communities across Canada pause to honor those who served and sacrificed for the country. This day is a solemn reminder of the courage and dedication of the men and women in uniform. One of the most compelling ways to connect with this history is through personal stories. Major Sky Simpson, a previous pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces for 20 years, recently shared her experiences, offering a unique perspective on service, sacrifice, and the ongoing commitment of Canada’s military personnel.

We were honoured to have Major Simpson join us at Phoenix Private Academy. Our students were engaged during the presentation and enjoyed being able to speak with her about her experience and ask her questions afterwards.
